Aaronson Speaks to Texas Estate Planners on Dispute Resolution

Maxine Aaronson will present a lecture on dispute resolution system design and the avoidance of inter-family conflict as part of the State Bar of Texas’ 2007 Advanced Drafting: Estate Planning and Probate Course. Entitled Drafting for Disagreements, Disputes and Outright Conflict, her talk will cover drafting mediation and arbitration clauses into wills and trusts, anticipating future areas of possible disagreement among family members, designing mechanisms to diffuse conflict and promote family harmony and using mediation to create a durable plan for succession of the family business after the death of the founders.
